Decent food, some delivery hiccups
I tried Chefgood for the first time, getting a mix of their Low Carb and Everyday Slim meals. The food itself was quite good, especially the salmon dish; it tasted surprisingly fresh for a ready meal. Portions were fair. Delivery, however, was a bit of a mixed bag. The first box arrived on time, but the second one was a day late, and I had to contact customer service to track it down. They were helpful once I got through, but it was a minor annoyance. The packaging was sturdy though, and the meals stayed cold. Good quality food, but they could improve on the consistency of their delivery schedule.
Got a good first box deal
I was looking for some ready meals that wouldn't break the bank and saw Chefgood had a first box discount. I ended up getting like $40 off my first order of High Protein meals. The price per meal was pretty good then. The food was decent, I tried the Chicken Katsu and it was filling. It felt like good value for what I paid. Happy with the savings.
Good meals, delivery was okay
I ordered the Everyday Slim meals, about 7 of them, and a few high protein ones. The meals tasted fresh and didn't have that weird preservative taste some ready meals do. Delivery took 3 days to get to my place in Melbourne, which was within their estimated window, but the box arrived with one of the ice packs slightly melted. No major issue, everything was still cold. Customer support was quick when I had a question about changing my delivery day, answered me in less than an hour. The instructions for heating were clear, mostly just microwave for 3-4 minutes. Overall, I liked the quality of the food and the convenience. Just wish the ice packs held up a bit better for the journey.
Pretty good, no drama
Needed some easy dinners so I ordered a few of their Chef prepared ready meals. They showed up when they said they would, which was cool. Food tasted fine, I liked the Butter Chicken. Made my week way easier. No complaints really.
Consistently good meals
This was my fourth time ordering from Chefgood, mostly the Vegetarian meals and some Cold pressed juices. Like before, the quality is really consistent. The vegetarian options are always flavorful, not bland like some other services I've tried. The juices are a nice addition too. They got the delivery right on time again, no issues with packaging. I keep coming back because I know what I'm getting, and it's reliable. Good for my busy weeks.
